MYAS State Tournament - 2009 7AAAAA Champions
Congratulations to the Traveling Tornadoes 7A team on winning the MYAS State Tournament. The lady Tornadoes needed to play extremely well through out the Grade State Tournament and earned the State Championship by defeating top quality teams and respected programs such as; Champlin Park, Lakeville South, and a classy, well coached team from Albany in the Championship game. Winning the Grade State Tournament capped off a tremendous year for the lady Tornadoes which included winning eight (8) 7th grade tournaments and finishing 22-5 in 8th grade competition which included another 4 tournament titles. Again, congratulations ladies on your successes though out the season, you paid the price and earned what you have achieved by doing what all great teams do, win or lose, you played for each other.
